The Cuban Revolution Will Always Be an Example: Tristan Bauer

Buenos Aires - Argentine filmmaker and politician, Tristan Bauer, has stated that the triumph of the Cuban Revolution has been a light that has radiated over Latin America and the whole world and will always be an example.

'If you look at my passport, you will see that I was born in 1959, I am marked from the beginning by the Revolution, which for me has been the most extraordinary event to occur in our America in the 20th century,' he exclusively told Prensa Latina.

The author of ‘Iluminados por el fuego' (2005) stressed that the triumph of Fidel Castro, Che Guevara and all young revolutionaries, are an example of the men who united at that time in history to say 'stop' to imperialism.

Bauer, who will return next month to Havana as a jurist in the Festival of New Latin American Cinema, said he is always looking ahead with hope but looking back at what happened, he believes that the example of Cuba is forever.
