Artemisa, Cuba - The 30th edition of the National Bodybuilding Championship and the first Body Fitness for females were held this weekend, with the presence of athletes from nine provinces, in the crowded cinema in Caimito township.

Among the men competed in six divisions by corporal weight and soon the winners competed in the absolute category, which wasdominated by Dayron Delgado from Havana city and a outstanding second place for Julio Luis Borrego from Artemisa province. Jorge Luis Fisher from Villa Clara , won a special prize for the best poses.

Meanwhile the feminine fitness had two divisions, in this occasion by stature; and once again, the winners disputed the absolute crown, achieved by Sonia Fojaco from Cienfuegos . "We are very happy with the public acceptance in these events, the place has been crowded just like in the previous championship , this is an excellent venue," said Saúl Blanco, president of the Provincial Bodybuilding and Fitness Association.

The tournament also had the presence of Yeisel Acosta, president of the National Association of this sport , who praised the organization of the tournament and said that they were not mistaken when giving the venue of the event to Caimito.
