The silver fish swam other waters

Natacha, Pedro and the fish, characters of the version made by Los cuenteros theater group to El camarón encantado story, had an exceptional Sunday before the children admitted in l Comandante Pinares hospital , in San Cristóbal: they carried out a peculiar experience for public and actors.
The members of this theatrical group from San Antonio, in their 47 years of work , did not think for a moment to join the initiative of the Non Agriculture Cooperatve (CNA) from El Arte beauty parlor , which joined some institutions in San Antonio in the beautiful mission of "living solidarity from within".
María Josefa García Madrigal, leader of the CNA, together her staff composed by 16 members, confessed they turned their eyes and efforts to the hospital attracted by the case of Edikson González Paneque.
Since the road to act with love opens unsuspected doors , they managed to arrive this Sunday with a material donation worth 2500 pesos in national currency, including disposable covers and sheets, toys, clothes, some food, together with the invaluable contribution of the theater, with free performances.
The Pediatric Intensive Care Ward was the first place . They performed for the nine infants who receive attention there: Edikson, Arielito and Fabián, who report a long hospital stay, due to the magnitude of their pathologies, were especially pleased with the fine work of Los Cuenteros, because the characteristics of the service to serious condition patients did not allow an open performance.
Then, the lobby between the Pediatric Surgery and Pneumology became a stage for dance, music and puppets, during an unforgettable morning lived in the fullness of joy by children Marcos Daniel and Rosy, just to mention two of those present.
After applause for the version titled El pez de plata, actors led by actress Malawi Capote, as well as El Arte´s staff , visibly moved, gathered the music stands with the pleasure of philanthropy, while medical staff, parents and children, felt good, almost healed by the certainty that "there is no medicine that cures what happiness does not cure ".
