Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez offers his condolences for Fidel Castro's death

Havana - Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez offered on Saturday his condolences to the entire universe after the news of the death of the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro, to who he wished eternal glory.
My deep condolences to his family, to the people of Cuba, to the World and to the entire Universe for the loss of one of the most extraordinary human beings of all time, wrote Rodríguez, one of the founders of the Cuban New Ballad (Nueva Trova Cubana), in his personal blog on the internet.
Under the title Gloria eterna a Fidel (Eternal Glory to Fidel), the artist placed the message as a tribute and a photo of the revolutionary icon on February 3, 2012, in which he is seen writing.
The historic leader died last night and the news of the event was given to the people of Cuba by the President of the Republic, Raúl Castro, brother of Fidel, at midnight.
On the occasion of the death of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, the Council of State decreed from today nine days of national mourning.
