Cuban and Chinese Communist Parties Conclude Seminar in Havana

Havana - The communist parties of Cuba and China are concluding today in this capital the Second Theoretical Seminar between both political groups.
The meeting began yesterday at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party (CCPCC), according to a statement published in Granma newspaper.
During the opening ceremony of the seminar, the head of the CCPCC's International Relations department, Jose Ramon Balaguer, highlighted the importance of those meetings such as this for the organization's work on the ideas of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, about the construction of socialism.
Guo Weimin, head of the delegation of the Communist Party of China, stated that the present theoretical seminar is relevant for the party work under the current conditions.
The first of these meetings was held in 2014 in Beijing.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.
