Cuban Emigrants in Miami to Pay Tribute to Fidel Castro

Washington - The Alianza Martiana (Mart's Alliance) coalition, consisting of Cuban emigrants living in the United States, convened a patriotic activity in Miami, to pay tribute to the historical leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro, on December 18th.
The activity, scheduled for Sunday, will pay tribute to the life, work and example of the Cuban legendary leader, who passed away on November 25th in Havana.
'We have joined to countless Cuban residents abroad, throughout the world who, in similar patriotic acts and heartfelt statements, have joined to the rest of the Cuban people in these historical moments,' a release spread by the group stresses.
The Alianza Martiana is an umbrella organization comprised of the Antonio Maceo Brigade, the Alianza Martiana coalition -as an individual organization-, the Jose Marti Association, the Alliance of Workers of the Cuban Community, and the Association of Christian Women in Defense of the Family.
Other groups joined to the coalition are the Bolivarian Circle in Miami and the Circle of Ibero-American Intellectuals and Artists.
The activity will be held at the organization's headquarters in Miami, at 13.30 local time on Sunday.
