La Paz- The Bolivian Minister of the Presidency, Juan Ramon Quintana, praised today the work by Cuban doctors in this country and regarded them as an example of the humanist legacy by the historic leader of the Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro.

Speaking in the ceremony for the 10th anniversary of the Collaborator's Clinic, Quintana highlighted that the world had to admit that Fidel and the Cuban people were right, because they had the capacity to resist, faced with the fury, the anger and hate of capitalism.

Fidel Castro left us a clear testimony of the socialist philosophy, and the Cuban doctors in Bolivia are a synthesis of the world in which we want to live, Quintana said.

'You, the Cuban doctors, are a great light, grown from a great revolution led by Fidel Castro,' said Quintana, who presented the most prominent doctors with certificates and the medal Manuel Piti Fajardo.

We are honored and proud that you are saving lives in Bolivia, in remote places, on the side of the poor, said the minister, who gave presents sent by President Evo Morales to the Collaborator's Clinic.

The Cuban doctors are where our graduates do not go because they know they would not get the profits they expect and their lives could be at stake, Quintana remarked.

'Our recognition for your professional work, and we will never forget that you supported us during the most difficult times of the process of changes that President Evo Morales still continues to carry out', he stated.

When we speak about Cuba, we think of social justice, education and health for all, Quintana said.
