Washington-Ex Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said today that United Nations headquarters must leave the United States after the Security Council passed a resolution against Israeli settlements in Palestinian territory.
Huckabee, also ex Republican candidate for the presidential primaries in last November, said during an interview with Fox News that the United Nations should look for another country to settle and thus 'there will be more places to park in Manhattan', New York , where the organization is headquartered.
The United States abstained last Friday at the Security Council, when it passed with 14 votes in favor and none against, the resolution 2334, which reiterates the illegal nature of the colonization of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and also that it violates the International Law, while urging Israel to halt this process.
Huckabee was a candidate for President-elect Donald Trump to serve as an ambassador to Israel, before he decided to appoint David Friedman, a Jewish conservative.
