Luna Manzanares to Perform in Cuba

For her performance in the musical, the lead singer of Theory and Choral Singing at the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory has just received the Order of Arts and Letters of France.
'It was of the most incredible experiences of my life, 27 shows in three weeks. Musicals are a genre that demand the best of one as an artist: to act, dance and sing perfectly, live,' she told Prensa Latina.
Winner of the first Mention in JoJazz 2006, when she was 16 years, the singer has had a professional career lasting a decade.
Manzanares, a restless young woman who is a fan of Russian literature, is anxious to record a series of albums featuring the specific music she loves.
She has began work on her first album under the label Egrem and with the musician, Descemer Bueno, writer of 10 of the songs on the album. She also revealed that she plans to release a song which she composed and to work on re-releases of songs by the Beatles, Carlos Varela, David Torrens and others.
