Declare in support of the state budget

Self-employment gains affiliates in San Antonio de los Baños. The Cuban state has approved this alternative to guarantee employment to the population, who open their own locations, provide services, produce food, and contribute to the state budget through timely payment of their taxes.

This type of employment of the non-state sector is not alien to compliance with laws and resolutions which also govern several state entities, for example, The Labor Department and the National Office of Tax Administration (ONAT), which control that each taxpayer makes its contribution to the cuban economy and does not evade the tax.

At the beginning of each year, the affidavit process is carried out, to which is given special attention in San Antonio de los Baños, because occasionally there are cases of self-employed people who do not declare on time or they fail to comply with the actual payment of their corresponding taxes.

It is very important to report on time, because this document testifies the income that the taxpayer received the previous year. A profit of 5 percent is given to those who pay before February 28. On the contrary, people who do not comply with their declaration, can receive fines and surcharges from the Office of the Prosecutor.

Fulfilling is a social responsibility. The country opened the doors to a world of work opportunities for all, the commitment is, in return, to contribute, to tax, to declare.
