The Provincial Center of Visual Arts Eduardo Abela of San Antonio de los Baños hosted several important events this week: The inauguration of relevant collateral exhibitions at the XX International Biennial of Graphic Humor, Cuba 2017, the children's caricature contest "Riamos Siempre" and the conversation -informal- held by some pioneers with the Hero of the Republic of Cuba Gerardo Hernández Nordelo.

The meeting took place in the inner courtyard of this cultural institution. After the awarding ceremony, students from primary schools Domingo Lence and Federico Engels approached Gerardo and had a pleasant conversation. Among laughters they spoke essentially of pets. Yes, domestic animals were the center of the meeting. The pioneers spoke about their puppies, curieles and hamsters, while, Gerardo told them about the little animals that Gema and his brothers have. It was a nice meeting where students fulfilled a dream and had fun with a hero who during that time was another child.
