Fair Presents Gibara as New Tourist Destination in Cuba

Havana - The 37th International Tourism Fair FITCuba 2017 will be opened with the presentation of Gibara as a new tourist product, a city located in the eastern province of Holguin, where the event will take place.
From this moment on, Gibara is inserted as a new tourist destination with attractive options, as the opening of hotels, cultural and recreational facilities of high heritage values, Cuban Tourism Minister Manuel Marrero told the Cuban News Agency.
He pointed out that this project began to be developed five years ago to find new ways to offer a differentiated service to tourists, outside the beach areas, where they stay, and show both the natural and architectural riches that distinguish this coastal city founded 200 years ago.
The options of this new tourist market will be available in the restored colonial hotels Ordoño, Arsenita and Plaza Colon.
The products are also accessible in the bars La Loja, Siglo XX and Ocio Club, with the official opening of the Nautical Club with high-standard sea-food dishes, he detailed.
