Caracas - A 13-year-old adolescent and a 36-year-old man lost their lives as a result of gunshot wounds, and another was injured amid violent incidents encouraged by ultra-right groups in Venezuela''s Lara state.
The boy identified as Bryan Principal, 13, died yesterday after receiving two bullet wounds, in violent acts promoted by spokespersons of the opposition right against the entry of Socialist City Alí Primera, located in Barquisimeto-Duaca.
According to Luis Reyes, a local government official, the teenager was killed by two shots fired from a moving vehicle in the midst of violent protests organized by the right-wing opposition in this northern sector of Barquisimeto.
The boy's mother, Marbelis Jiménez, condemned the incident and denounced that terrorist groups intended to ignite urbanism and tried to sabotage the gas system.
The death of Miguel Antonio Colmenares, 36, and gunshot wounds to Gruseny Canelón, 32, in the Cabudare area, and la Mora, in Barquisimeto, were also reported amid a protest rally that turned violent.
