Caracas - Venezuelan analyst Miguel Perez Pirela accused the private television station Globovisión of constructing false news - or false positives - in the alleged protests and demonstrations organized last week by the opposition right wing.

Pérez Pirela, host of the program 'Cayendo y Corriendo', which Venezolana de Televisión VTV channel broadcasts, denounced last night the methods used by this private channel to distort the truth and manipulate opinion states, both in Venezuela and abroad.

The host of Cayendo and Corriendo explained that Globovisión - along with other media - create the news to later sell them abroad, and try to present the situation in Venezuela as a real chaos.

He explained that these types of strategies have been exploited more strongly in recent days, when political demonstrations on the right ended in violent vandalism by groups, mostly young people, who, according to him, carried out terrorist activities.

'They create the images -Perez Pirela said- send terrorists to burn half Chacao, half Baruta (Miranda state), and then the congresspersons of the Latin American extreme right come out to speak with a single voice against Venezuela.'
