Cuba, Iberostar's Main Destination in Latin American

Varadero, Cuba - Cuba has become the first choice for operation in Latin America of the Spanish hotel group Iberostar, the chain''s representative on island, Mateo Cardentei, said during the opening of a new stablishment in the western resort of Varadero.
The Spanish company inaugurated on Saturday the Iberostar Bella Vista Varadero Hotel a five-star Premium Gold hotel, with 827 rooms, in one of the most impressive beach areas of the Hicacos peninsula, about 140 kilometers east of Havana.
The Bella Vista Varadero opening ceremony was attended by tour operators, travel agents and tourist executives who work in this destination.
Cardentei showed satisfaction for the quality of the finished work, owner of the Gaviota Group, the beauty of its construction lines and the privileged setting it occupies in front of the sea.
Among the plans, the Spanish firm plans projects in Havana with its Cuban partners such as Gaviota, Gran Caribe and Cubanacán, with the Ministry of Tourism of the country.
