French Association will Celebrate Mayday in Cuba

Paris - French Association Cuba Linda will travel in the next few days to Havana to join the celebrations on the International Workers'' Day on May 1, informed the entity''s directive. According to a communiqué sent to Prensa Latina, the delegation will be formed by one hundred persons who will develop an intense program titled ''Following the Tracks of the Revolution''.
The stay will allow them to 'firmly support Cuban Revolution and also the Venezuelan Revolution that faces destabilizing actions of the national and international right', says the text.
The solidarity group will participate together with the Cubans the parade that each year takes place in the Plaza de la Revolucion.
Also, they will carry out numerous activities in the capital as a visit to the House of Friendship where they will be received by the President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, Fernando Gonzalez.
They will also take part in the International Solidarity with Cuba meeting scheduled for May 2 at the Havana Convention Center.
As part of the stay of the French delegation, they will tour the island, including sites such as Viñales, Trinidad, Santa Clara, Camagüey and Cienfuegos.
In that tour they will visit numerous schools, historical monuments, communities and cultural projects such as Korimakao, artistic group whose headquarters is in the Cienaga de Zapata, and which commemorates its 25th anniversary.
The association Cuba Linda will celebrate in 2018 its two decades of creation, period in which it has organized the visit of some 27 thousand persons in order tol et them discover first-hand the reality of the Caribbean nation.

Havana - Cuba is a nation with a wealth of culture, stated the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Audrey Azoulay, at the inauguration of the 41st International Festival of New Latin American Cinema on Thursday, running through December 15 in this capital.
