Culture is our proud

The last days on April are always a reason of celebration for Artemisa´s inhabitants . More than two centuries ago, residents of the neighborhoods of Guadalupe and Jesus Maria settled here in the former San Marcos settlement , and brought with them their culture and traditions.
Precisely these roots accompany us from April 21 to 28, a week for artists, creators, intellectuals and all the people to gather in various places to remember what join us and show everything beautiful and cultured that distinguishes this township.
As part of this activities , at the Artemisa House of Music, a group of young Canadian music students, exchanged their talent with the boys of Nuevas Liras guitar orchestra , and the members of the trio Los Tres del Son.
The teacher Valentín Puentes highlighted the event as an ideal opportunity for the exchange of cultures and the consolidation of friendly relations between Artemisa´s settlers and Canadians.
For these days important there are important activities organized by the Municipal Direction of Culture. Café Ciudad will be held on Thursday night at the Provincial Library dedicated to Artemisa foundation.
The AHS Park, the House of Culture, the video and movie theaters, the Boulevard and the bookstore will different artist performances , film projections, conferences, book presentations, activities that will also include The House of the Grandparents, some schools and popular councils.
