
San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba - The outstanding journalist, historian and Cuban intellectual, Ciro Bianchi Ross visited the Bosque Martiano (Marti Forest) of Ariguanabo, in correspondence with an invitation made by its creator, Rafael Rodríguez Ortiz.
The chronicler of the Juventud Rebelde newspaper and a researcher on Cuba's history, visited the site that treasures the entire history of José Martí, described in his "Campaign Diary." Ciro Bianchi planted a Najesí tree and as a token of appreciation for his distinguished visit Rafael Rodríguez Ortiz "Felo" gave him the book "Days of Manigua".
The renowned journalist said he was excited about his first stay in the Martiano Forest of Ariguanabo and praised the humility of its creator and of those who work there to keep the history of the author of ''La Edad de Oro'' alive.
