An enriching meeting with sports glories

San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba - The authorities of the General Directorate of Education, Culture and Sports of the municipality held an enriching encounter with their sports glories.
Ivón Álvarez González, director general of the department, said that it is necessary the presence of these sports glories, for the future development of the ariguanabense sport. With their experiences, with their experiences very good ideas were suggested to achieve better results in provincial and national events.
Among the glories present in the debate were Olympic swimmer, Gregorio Fiallo; professional baseball player Reynaldo Castro Palomino; Pan American weight-lifting athlete René González; skeet shooters Servilio and Guillermo Alfredo Torres (World and Olympic categories) and wrestling athlete Leonardo World Díaz Villar, among others.
These outstanding athletes from Ariguanabo requested a closer approach by the sports and government authorities to know their needs, as well as their willingness to help the sport in San Antonio de los Baños.
