A meeting with Marti´s ideas

Inspired by Marti's thoughts of faith in human improvement, in future life, in the utility of virtue, and in order to foster dialogue among young members , Ciro Redondo Library in Artemisa held a provincial meeting of the Youth Section of José Martí Cultural Society(SCJM).

Members of the clubs in Eduardo Garcia Lavandero pre-university school , Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Artemisa (UA), the provincial newspaper and presidents of municipal management councils, among other preset there , heard the call to the Youth Camp Face to the Sun and For the good of Cuba.

According to Bárbaro Reyes, vice president of SCJM, this should be held on May 19 in each municipality and province. "The forests dedicated to Marti will be the main stage where the audience will remember not only the fall in combat of the Apostle; it will also be an opportunity to take into account with enthusiasm and commitment the coming World Festival of Youth and Students. "

Alejandro Pérez, president of the Federation of University Students( FEU) in f Medical Sciences Faculty , talked about the activities carried out by the two clubs there, while Lieutenant Colonel Camilo Hernández, head of the Political Section of theMinistry of Interior (Minint) in the province, highlighted club actions in f the headquarters, evidence that "our work is not only prevention and confrontation, but we interact with the people as a part of it."

Héctor Estévez, Philosophy teacher at the UA, talked about the courses they have taught for two years ago on José Martí, based on the lack of knowledge of his bibliography , identified through surveys. "You can be a Marti´s ideas follower , but you need to read and understand his texts in order to understand his thought."

He also proposed the creation of a site in social networks to exchange between different institutions and know what each one is doing, programming activities and socializing information.

Reinaldo Pereda, national vice president of the SCJM, called on young people to think of ways to strengthen the work of the Society. The meeting was also presided by Javier Ortega, president of the SCJM in the territory; and Vienna Cala, an official of the Municipal Committee of the Young Communist League(UJC) in Artemisa, among other leaders.
