Venezuelan Analyst Reveals Opponents´ Complicity with Violence

Caracas, May 14 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan opposition groups still remain in complicity with the progress of vandalism and armed actions, as said by analyst Eleazar Diaz Rangel.

In his usual column on Sundays, the Ultimas Noticias newspaper editor-in-chief assessed the current situation in Venezuela, the opposition´s silence to violence and specified that 'a first interpretation of such a behavior is that it is not the right electoral, democratic way they want'

They rebuffed the (elections) of governors, that it surely would provide significant victories. How can this resignation be explained, not required to the National Electoral Council (CNE)? Surely because they are quite convinced that Nicolas Maduro´s Government is lacking of a final push, which this is the best time to trigger it and, consequently, such actions in Caracas and in other cities should not stop, he added.

Diaz Rangel ruled out the possibility that these opposition groups can count on an 'military units´ active participation, even though there are some discontents who dare to take that misstep.'

He also stressed that with no greater support it is rather impossible for the opposition to unseat the present Venezuelan government.

The analyst said the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, according to reports released by Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino, must have enough intelligence information so as to denounce the US plans.
