Venezuela Recovers Housing for Victims of Hurricane Matthew in Cuba

Maisi, Cuba - With the collaboration of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, about 200 more homes have been recovered in this territory, one of the most affected by Hurricane Matthew in October 2016.
The Great Mission Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor of that nation has been cooperating for seven months with the Cuban State in repairing the buildings damaged by the hurricane in the communities of Punta de Maisi, Santa Martha and El Veril, all located in this Cuban municipality.
About 600 homes and more than a dozen state institutions, such as shops, sports areas, schools, a coffee pulping plant and the local candy factory, are expected to be rebuilt, Rolvis Perez, coordinator of the program in the territory, told the press.
The donation includes sheets and roof profiles with screws, cables, doors, windows and bathroom furniture set; in case of paintings, three colors should essentially prevail, an element that gives name to this mission, the official said.
