Healthy recreation under light

The Artemisa´s night lights up in several sports areas. In order to foster physical activity during night time, the Municipal Sports Management placed lamps in several facilities of the provincial capital.
"In basketball, volleyball, tennis and futsal areas, we already have lighting, thanks to 1000-watt luminaires that will allow lovers of muscle activity to extend their practice until the night time," said Carlos Morales, director of Municipal Sports management.
Morales added that an area was also established in the community of Las Cañas and they are working to extend this experience to more facilities, both in the city and in the rest of the popular councils.
"We have a long-term plan to rehabilitate, and even illuminate, Las Cañas stadium, as well as El Lincoln community. The latter is in the process of transferring it to Inder's property, and then we will start repairing it, "said deputy director Arnel Medina.
Carlos and Arnel emphasize the acceptance of this initiative by the Artemisa´s people, as it provides them with a nocturnal option of healthy recreation and brings sports to the communities.
