La Paz - Several speakers highlighted the validity of the legacy of Ernesto Che Guevara in the process of Bolivian change, during a conversation held last night at the La Paz Book Fair, which continues its activities today at the Chuquiago Marka fairground of this city.

The homage is part of the events to mark the 50th anniversary of the presence in Bolivia of the Heroic Guerrilla, program which will culminate in the month of October in Vallegrande.

The outstanding researcher Carlos Soria, author of the series 'El Che en Bolivia', among many other texts, recalled that Ernesto Guevara arrived in La Paz on November 3, 1966 with a political proposal for this nation.

Soria considered interesting the coincidence and the approximation between the ideas of Che and the projects promoted by the president, Evo Morales, during the process of change.

Ernesto Guevara de la Serna was born in Rosario, Argentina. He was a revolutionary fighter who fought in Cuba, in the Congo and in Bolivia. Eric Valdés, charge d'affaires of the Cuban embassy, recalled that Ernesto Guevara de la Serna was born in Rosario, Argentina.
