Friendship ties from music

Singing has been part of my life since I was born and it is an honor to come here to do so. As a child I learned to know Cuba and its music: I was always curious about the interpretations of those artists who were heard in my country, said Puerto Rican singer and composer Danny Rivera during a press conference at the House of Music in Artemisa .

In this entity , which was inaugurated at the beginning of the year , Rivera starred in a concert on Friday night, accompanied by Alabao musical group from Artemisa and with the young singer Chila Lynn, they sang Para decir adiós.

According to the singer-songwriter, he met them in Las Terrazas community and, following the philosophy of giving new opportunities to the talents, invited them to be part of this new proposal.

In this regard he commented that all topics have names of women and to take them back is a way to get them to listen again, recreating them in their own way. "When I find this music again, I see that time has not passed, and I feel like a child who grew up listening to it."
The puertorican singer treasures an experience of more than 50 years in the art, and he visited Cuba for the first time 70´s . At that moment he was welcomed by children who sang Tu pueblo es mi pueblo, and states that "from that time on he has always liked Cuba. "

As part of his visit in the province ,Rivera visited the Mausoleum to the Martyrs of Artemisa, where he learned about the history of this solemn site, its characteristics, and paid tribute to the young people of the territory who participated in Moncada's events.
