First dedicated to entertainment and information, and then with a special connotation in the stage of struggle, when news of Radio Rebelde radio station informed the people about the actions of the rebel army in Sierra Maestra mountains.
The Cuban Radio, one of the first in Latin America, treasures voices that have marked periods. In 95 years it has managed to cover with its sound and the multiple stations throughout the national territory, and has been the most efficient means of communication in times of hurricanes or other natural disasters.
