The Negatives Trend on the Under 23 Pan American Games

The under 23 Baseball Pan American Championship ended last Sunday ended in Panama with the unquestionable victory of Venezuela and a related and unexpected low result of the Cuban baseball team that won four games and lost five decisive ones.
As a matter of fact, we foretold that the local baseball team would end up among the four first teams and would classify into the World under 23 Baseball Cup, and to be honest, we thought that the Cuban team could finish on the podium or even competing the first place and it was on the other way around.
Nevertheless, we must be fair and highlighting the positive aspect of that tournament which is truly warning and it is evident that teams of Venezuela, Mexico and Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic are truly powerful by having better pitchers than the Cuban team and they have a timing batting and play properly defensibly, so the future belong to them.
The last game of our team before Panama was a disappointing one for having not qualified into the World Baseball cup next year, and in spite of this and that team being the host team, the Cuban team concluded in the fifth place. However, that triumph has only a connotation and it is precisely that the Cuban baseball players keep their best willingness even before a very adverse situation.
We are hoping that our local team could have a much better performance with its experienced and some young players at the Baseball Caribbean Tournaments and the Central American and the Caribbean Games in 2018.
