Havana - The distribution and promotion of feature films will be the main course today of the Industry Sector at the 39th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema, taking place in this capital until December 17.

North American specialist Tim League, co-founder of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and Fantastic Fest, will address this issue during the lecture 'Tips, tricks and distribution techniques'.

Cuban filmmaker Alejandro Brugues, winner of Goya Award for Best Ibero-American Film in 2013 with his feature film 'Juan de los muertos' (Juan of the Dead), will also speak in the meeting.

'Tips, tricks and distribution techniques' is scheduled for 11:00 local time, at Hotel Nacional de Cuba's Taganana hall.

The Industry Sector of the International Festival of the New Latin American Cinema organizes a program of activities every year for the professionals of the production and distribution of feature films.

Seminars, lectures and master classes, the Latin American scriptwriting workshop, and the Coral Postproduction Award, are organized for this festival.

More than 400 films from Latin America and other parts of the world are expected to be screened in this major event of the seventh art in Cuba.
