Algeria Launches Multipurpose Satellite in Cooperation with China
The outlook is that the satellite's broadband, whose useful life is estimated at 15 years, will be operated by the Algerian Space Agency and will provide capabilities for the development of electronic government, distance education and other services, according to the media.
This is the sixth satellite placed in orbit by Algeria, the same number as South Africa and far ahead of Egypt and Morocco, who only have one each.
