Political-cultural gala for the constitution of the province of Artemisa

On the night of January 9, the political-cultural gala for the seventh anniversary of the province of Artemisa took place at the 11th Anfiteatro Festival of San Antonio Baños. The meeting, nuanced by the achievements that during these 7 years have transformed the reality of Artemisa, showed how much has been done in favor of the people.
The artists lent their voices to pay tribute to the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro. Students from the Eduardo Abela Professional School of Art also participated. Also present were José Antonio Valeriano Fariñas, member of the Central Committee and first secretary of the Provincial Bureau of the Party in Artemisa; Juan Domínguez, president of the Provincial Assembly of the Popular Power and Teresa Valentina Martínez Mengaro, head of the Council of the Provincial Administration.
Re-opening of the Cine-teatro Círculo de Artesanos in San Antonio de los Baños
An old dream came true with the reopening of the "Círculo de Artesanos" as part of the activities for the anniversary of the constitution of the province of Artemisa. The institution, patrimony of this Villa, was repaired by Cooperativa No Agropecuaria '' KB Bloquín ''. In this way, this symbol of the ariguanabense culture regained its splendor. With a capacity for 250 spectators and favorable conditions, (bathrooms, dressing rooms, hydraulic and electrical system, carpentry, air conditioning, mobility and backdrops), the institution was financed by the Provincial Administration Council.
The reopening was presided over by José Antonio Valeriano Fariñas, member of the Central Committee and First Secretary of the Provincial Bureau of the Party in Artemisa; Juan Domínguez, president of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power and Teresa Valentina Martínez Mengaro, head of the Council of the Provincial Administration. Teresa, deputy to the Cuban Parliament, pointed out that this achievement is an old dream of the ariguanabense people. He also stated that this is the beginning of a process of rescue and restoration of local heritage.
