Cuban Domadores to face Uzbekistan Tigers

The Cuba Domadores will face today the Uzbekistan Tigers at the Universal Sports Complex, in the city of Tashkent, in order to preserve its undefeated status in group A of the 8th World Series of Boxing (WSB).
Last February 9th, the squad coached by Rolando Acebal beat the Asian team 5-0 but in C-2 format, in a match hosted by Havana´s Sports City Coliseum.
So far, the Domadores have balance of 10 wins and no loss, since they previously defeated 5-0, also at home, the Colombia Heroicos.
Today´s match, in the C-1 format, includes top quality bouts such as the one in the 49 kilograms division between Rio 2016 O lympic champion Hasanboy Dusmatov and Johanys Argilagos, twice world monarch.
Argilagos won the last time they faced each other in the 2017 World Championships, but Dusmatov previously beat him twice, so it will be a very interesting fight.
In the 56 kg, Shakhobidin Zoirov, Rio 2016 Olympic king in the 52 kilos, will rival Robeisy Ramirez, double Olympic champion.
Meanwhile, in the light-welterweights, the universal monarch Andy Cruz will try to achieve his third win over Ikboljon Kholdarov, Hamburg 2017 WC silver medalist.
In another revenge bout, the Olympic and world title holder Arlen Lopez (75 kg) will face the Asian leader Israil Madrimov, who surprisingly beat him last year, in the WSB 7th edition.
Finally, in the heavyweight division, world champion Erislandy Savon will try to repeat his triumph of last year, in the 7th WSB, over Sanjar Tursunov, Hamburg 2017 WC bronze medalist.
