Havana - Professionals from more than 10 countries are analyzing today the main impacts and developments of the process of computerization of the Cuban society, during the final session of an international congress on economic management.

Deputy Communications Minister, Wilfredo Gonzalez, will deliver a keynote speech about the issue.

Later, Juan Jose Duran, a professor of the Autonomous University of Madrid, will give the lecture Geography and strategy of the state-owned multinational company.

The program includes the realization of a panel about the economic thought of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, in which Jose Luis Rodriguez, adviser of the World Economy Research Center (CIEM), will act as a coordinator. The panelists are Ramon Labañino, vice president of the National Association of Economists and Accountant of Cuba (ANEC), Gladys Hernandez and Jonathan Quiroz, both researchers from CIEM, and Blanca Rosa Pampin, of CANEC consulting firm.

The 3rd International Congress of Economic Management and Development is taking place since Tuesday at the Conference Center in Havana, with the participation of more than 400 specialists.

This forum, organized by the ANEC, is being held in parallel with four other meetings: the 12th Meeting on Accounting, audit and finance, the 3rd Meeting on Management and business management, the 4th Meeting on Cooperativism and the 5th Meeting on Public administration for development.
