''Barro sin Berro'' and the Ariguanabense Culture Week
The Barro sin Berro Project will exhibit its creative process on September 22 at the Eduardo Abela Provincial Visual Arts Center located in San Antonio de los Baños. According to Maday Acosta, daughter of the Ariguanabo's ceramist and comedian Jorge Armando Acosta, both in charge of this project; attendees can participate in the production of pieces.
The initiative, which welcomes the Ariguanabense Culture Week, aims to publicize the work of artisans. The public may also participate in some of the phases of the production process. Barro sin Berro is an inclusive project, because besides selling its pieces, it offers employment to young people and women who have skills for craftsmanship and creation.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.
