La Villa Infinita Project

The fourth edition of La Villa Infinita project will take place during the Ariguanabense Culture Week to be held from September 17 to 23 in San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa. The event was created by the young photographer William Cruz Perdomo with the aim of promoting actions to rescue and strengthen our infinite village: El Ariguanabo.
The Eduardo Abela Provincial Visual Arts Center will host important activities such as the exhibition of the creative process of the Barro sin Berro Project, so that attendees can learn about the phases of the process of making clay pieces by artisans Armando and Maday Acosta.
On September 22, two exhibitions and a giant outdoor mural will be inaugurated in the courtyard of the Eduardo Abela Provincial Visual Arts Center. There will also be music and theater. On this day, the activity "Encounter with Art" will also take place, where outstanding workers of the Culture sector will be recognized.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.
