Book on Cuba-United States Relations is Presented in Havana

Havana - The Cuban Book Institute will present on Saturday in its space Saturday of the Book the text Cuba-United States Relations: What Has Changed? by Canadian political scientist and journalist Arnold August.
The literary novelty proposes an approach to the most recent events which have marked the relations between both countries, it sheds light on the essential permanence of imperialism as a system striving to dominate the world', according to the Cuban intellectual Luis Toledo Sande.
The new volume is printed by Editorial Oriente and will be presented to the public at 11:00 a.m., local time, on Wood Street in Havana's Plaza de Armas, the usual venue for the Saturday Book Space.
Arnold August is the author of several books, including Cuba and its Neighbors: Democracy on the Move, as well as numerous articles in print and digital media.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.
