Idalmis Quiñones, vice-deputy of the Administration, explained that some works are included in the economy plan for this year: the road to El Mambí community , an area of difficult access; on the road to the Modesto Serrano community, in district 45, Los Pinos community ; and the road to Machuca, belonging to the Turquino Plan.

The deterioration in the road to Mambí is one of the biggest concerns in the town. "We have not been able to operate due to lack of technique, there is a need for an engineering project because there is a gap in the sewer and the Roads Enterprise UEB can not accomplish these tasks. There is a previous project for the bridge, but it demands greater resources; it's a revised issue with the province to gather their support and finishe this work , a big concern in San Cristóbal. "

The work on the road to Modesto Serrano includes actions of patching, which are not finished because of the priority that Comandante Pinares Hospital demands at this moment, which is further deteriorated by rains. "In the latter the ditches were cleaned but it continues to flood; It has become practically impossible to get to the hospital , especially for ambulances. At the moment workers from Municipal roads enterprise are there with the province support. "

Regarding the road to the Machuca mountain settlement, the deputy chief said that they had coordinated with the Costa Sur Integral Company for a bulldozer, which was required due to the complex work to carry out there . Currently the bus to that destination only reaches Rangel area.
