Cubamotricidad Opens in Havana

Havana - With the idea of promoting Sport for All, the event ''Cubamotricidad-2018'' opened on Tuesday at Havana's Conference Center.

Issues such as 'Girl and woman in the Physical Education and Sports', 'Inclusive, equitable and quality physical education for the whole life', 'Recreation, environment and sustainability', 'High performance and sciences applied to sports', and 'Antidoping', among many others, will be discussed in different commissions.

The event was convened by the World Organization for Stimulation, Education and Childhood Development, the International Association of Physical Education and Sport for Girls and Women, the International Sports for All Association, along with the National Institute of Sports in Cuba, under the auspices of prestigious international institutions and organizations.

Delegates from dozens of countries will take part in courses and workshops during the event, which was described as a celebration of life, sports and health and which opened on Monday night until October 26.
