Take the people into account

Artemisa, Cuba - Provincial Assembly of People's Power in its V ordinary session of the III mandate discussed issues such as : insufficient systems to population´s attention, specialists´incapacity in charge of this task , weak follow-up to repeated complains , partial solutions to long time problems and lack of conciliation of provincial entities and their municipal counterparts.
Juan Domínguez, the head of the Assembly , said that only if we interview the people and poll them -as a daily work style-, we know the impact of our state order, and that deserves to change communication styles, not dedicate only one day to attend to the people, because it is not a task to postpone or leave in insensitive hands, Dominguez said.
Meanwhile, Gladys Martínez, member of the Central Committee and First Secretary of the Party in the province, insisted on finding out causes of inattention in some entities, and resolving director´s unawareness, lack of specialists, entities conditions , the absence of the control record and other negative factors preventing good treatment and viable answers or solutions.
The Provincial Administration reported back the Assembly, and the budget´s implementation was informed; hence, investments, repairs and maintenance, in addition to the effective use of entities one percent for local development , are issues to promote and control more so as to make a proper use of budget in 2018, while receivable and payable accounts and the fines charge are among the priorities to finish a year with better indicators.
The Assembly approved judges promotions , as well as Héctor Piloto as general director of Infrastructure and Investments in the Council of the Provincial Administration, and set the next process of delegate's report back to their electors , from November 15 to December 30.

Prieto, former minister of Culture and currently serving as director of the Marti Program Office and president of the José Martí Cultural Society, was nominated for the post by Alpidio Alonso, current Culture Minister.
