Diaz-Canel Receives Vice President of Russian Federation

Havana - Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Tuesday received Russian Vice President Yuri Borisov, who is the co-chair of the Bilateral Inter-Governmental Commission for Economic-Commercial and Scientific-Technical Collaboration.

At the meeting, Diaz-Canel and Borisov reviewed the state of bilateral relations, especially in the economic field, which has been strengthened over the past few years.

They also ratified their will to achieve active participation by the Russian Federation in Cuba's long-term development plans, according to an official press release.

The meeting between Diaz-Canel and Borisov took place in the framework of the 36th International Trade Fair of Havana.
