
Artemisa, Cuba - A delegation from the Chamber of Deputies of the South American nation , led by Mr. Mauricio Hurtado Navia, Chile's ambassador to Cuba, paid tribute to the Artemisa martyrs in the Mausoleum, while recognizing the emotions provoked in the place where Moncada´s fighters mortal remains rest.
The delegation of six Chilean legislators, received by Yoan Molina, vice president of the Provincial Assembly of Popular Power, and other officials, talked about agricultural production; they were interested in the main crops, producers ways of organization and the distribution of the food, in addition to the income.
In the meantime, they received general information about the province, awaiting its eighth anniversary, and discussed the separation of functions between the Assembly and the Administration, and its main achievements and challenges.
Hurtado Navia thanked the cordiality, and explained that they expect to have possible economic relations here, for the privileges of their agricultural productions, hence to repeat the visit with bilateral objectives, while talking about business that Chile already established in the Mariel Special Development Zone, place where the visit continued.
The Chilean delegation has been on a tour in Cuba since November 5, and was received by Esteban Lazo, President of the National Assembly of People's Power, at the Capitol in Havana.
