Camerata Romeu: virtuosity and professionalism

Zenaida Romeu and her Camerata offered a concert at the Eduardo Abela Professional School of Art in San Antonio de los Baños. Camerata Romeu toured several provinces of the country such as Matanzas, Pinar del Río and Artemisa.

With professionalism, the members of Camerata Romeu performed several musical genres such as tangos, danzones, samba and son montuno, among others. The orchestra, composed of more than 10 young people, this year celebrates the 25th anniversary of its creation.

Fifty years telling stories

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.

Cuban minister stress importance of culture for the fulfillment of Agenda 2030

Paris - Cuba’s Minister of Culture, Alpidio Alonso, assessed the role of culture in the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, during a multilateral forum held ay UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
