Cuba and European Union Examine Future Cooperation Perspectives

Havana - Cuban Vicepresident of the Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas and the Director General of Cooperation and Development of the European Commission, Stefano Manservisi, analyzed future cooperation perspectives, informed here the local media.
In the context of the first Sub-Committee of Cooperation Cuba-European Union, both officials recognized the advance achieved over the last year in the implementation of the Multi-annual Indicative Program for the period 2014-2020.
Such initiative gives the island non-reimbursable funds for the value of 50 million euros for the sectors of energies and agricultura, including Exchange of experts, refers daily Granma.
Cabrisas and Manservisi agreed on the importance to continue deepening the work in these areas for the economic and social development of Cuba.
The Cuban vicepresident highlighted the importance of the Subcommittee of Coopweration as part of the implementation of the Agreement of Political and Cooperation Dialogue signed in December, 2016.
This legal instrument will contribute to strengthen the cooperation links in an environment of respect, transparency and confidence.
