Cuba and Vietnam Ratify Excellent State of Bilateral Ties

Havana - The vice president of the Cuban Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas, and the Minister of Construction from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Pham Hong Ha, agreed in Havana on Thursday on the excellent state of bilateral relations.
Cabrisas received the visitor in the framework of the 36th Session of the Cuban-Vietnamese Intergovernmental Commission for Economic and Scientific-Technical Collaboration.
According to a press release published here, both leaders acknowledged the progress made in recent years and highlighted the signing of a new Trade Agreement, which was penned on the occasion of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel's recent visit to Vietnam.
During the meeting, Cabrisas and Pham also discussed the implementation of investment projects with Vietnamese capital in Cuba and cooperation in the agri-food sphere.
The 36th Cuban-Vietnamese Intergovernmental Commission started on Wednesday and will conclude on Friday in Havana.
