Melia Inaugurates Paradisus Los Cayos Hotel in Cuba

Havana - The Paradisus Los Cayos (The Keys) Hotel, the fourth of its kind run by Melia Hotels International in Cuba, was inaugurated on December 8, the firm announced.

The eco-resort, belonging to the Gaviota Group, is located on Cayo Santa Maria, nearly 400 kilometers east of Havana, and was built in a unique natural environment, the statement said.

The Paradisus Los Cayos Hotel, a pioneer of its kind located in this geographical area, is part of the Buenavista Biosphere Reserve, where the second most important coral reef on the planet is located.

The hotel, on the beachfront, is in constant harmony with nature in one of the most unspoiled areas of key, Melia Hotels said.

The information added that at Paradisus Los Cayos, with 802 suites and junior suites, guests have direct access from the 190 garden swim up rooms to its 34 swimming pools.

Besides, the report noted, there are facilities for the MICE segment, or events, with a total area of 959 square meters for meetings and a 910-square-meter ballroom, with a capacity for 910 people in a theater format and 500 in a banquet style.

The Reserve area was designed for those who want personalized attention because it offers the Family Concierge service, the statement explained.

On the other hand, for those who seek an only adults luxurious experience, Paradisus Los Cayos has the Royal Service zone, with exclusive access to the hotel restaurants, bars, lobby and swimming pools; as well as an exceptional stewardship service among others.

According to Melia, the gourmet variety and quality offer distinguishes the place.

Guests can enjoy a plurality of flavors and textures with proposals from Mediterranean cuisine to Latin fusion, without forgetting the exotic flavors of Asia, home cuisine or traditional Cuban food in its 12 restaurants and 14 bars, the information added.

According to Melia Hotels International in Cuba, the singularities that distinguish the establishment, together with the natural space into which it is harmoniously integrated, make it a unique place to discover paradisiacal landscapes and live memorable experiences in Cuba.
