Beijing Protests to U.S. for Accussing Two Chinese of Hacking

According to a statement by Hua Chunying, spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this is a movement which violates rules on international ties and harms cooperation between both powers.
Therefore, China urged Washington to immediately correct this erroneous action and stop the digital security defamation, noting that Beijing will take the necessary measures to safeguard its own cybersecurity and interests.
'It has long been an open secret that U.S. federal agencies hacked and monitored foreign governments, companies and individuals', Hua said.
The spokeswoman also warned that China will not tolerate any more unjustified criticism of alleged cyber theft, either from the White House or from other supporting powers, such as the United Kingdom.
The American justice accused Thursday Chinese citizens Zhu Hua and Zhang Shilong of conspiring with China's security officials to infiltrate and appropriate confidential data from 45 U.S. companies and government agencies, as well as a dozen foreign firms.
As confirmed by this sector, the fact is part of a broad campaign launched last month against what they call 'China's bad sharing' through alleged espionage in scientific research centers or threats in telecommunications with the transition to the 5G network.
This new act confirms the fragility of the truce agreed last December 1 between Presidents Xi Jinping and Donald Trump to solve the conflictive issues between their countries, especially the economic-commercial one.
Although the United States is trying to disassociate it from the ongoing negotiations to stop the tariff war, experts warn that it will be difficult because Trump insists on taking advantage of any turbulence.
For example, he offered to mediate in Meng Wanzhou's case, technological giant Huawei's financial director arrested in Canada, if it would serve to close a trade pact with China.
In that way he made clear the political background of the process opened against the executive, to whom Washington asks in extradition to judge her for deceiving financial institutions to violate the sanctions imposed against Iran.
