Cuban FM Highlights Meeting with Former Colombian President

Havana - Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez highlighted the recent meeting he held in this capital with former Colombian president Ernesto Samper.
Rodriguez and Samper discussed the main challenges Latin America and the Caribbean are facing, according to a message from the Cuban diplomat on Twitter.
Samper made a vacation trip to the island this month, a stay in which criticized the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba.
Samper, also former secretary general of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), recognized the progress of Cuba in the tourism industry.

Havana - Cuba is a nation with a wealth of culture, stated the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Audrey Azoulay, at the inauguration of the 41st International Festival of New Latin American Cinema on Thursday, running through December 15 in this capital.
