Puerto Rican Singer Don Omar Shows Solidarity with Cuba after Tornado

Havana - The Puerto Rican singer William Omar Landron, known artistically as Don Omar, expressed his solidarity on Monday with the Cuban people, after the tornado that affected Havana on Sunday, January 27.
In his Twitter with the tags #cuba and #prayforcuba, the musician wrote touching words of support for the Cuban people, who highlighted itsstrength and wished it a speedy recovery.
'I have seen how you have withstood stronger winds to become the only place I would like to go before I die. You are strong and your people are strong. You deserve a great future thanks to your people, recover soon my dreamed Cuba, 'he tweeted.
The devastating phenomenon left at least three people dead and 172 wounded, in addition to numerous damages in housing and state installations, electricity, gas and water services, tree felling, poles and destruction of vehicles.
Among the most affected municipalities in Havana are Regla, 10 de Octubre and Guanabacoa, who have already begun assessing the damage and are in the process of recovering.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''.
