Artemisa, Cuba - A group of students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences received their university degrees in Medicine and Stomatology, corresponding to the special training calls from the Ministry of Public Health in Artemisa.
The International Humor Museum, founded on March 17, 1979, the only one specialized in humorism in Cuba, is one of the first in Latin America and the world. It exhibits, preserves and treasures the caricature heritage of Cuba and other parts of the world and at the same time enriches the programming with cultural actions of great impact in the cultural life of San Antonio de los Baños. Ariguanabo is the birthplace of many graphic humorists, including: Eduardo Abela, Manuel Alfonso, Oven Pérez, Francisco Martinez Villamil and René de la Nuez, the latter promoter and father of the museum.
It is usual to walk the streets of San Antonio de los Baños and meet a man who is not tall, but does have an immense will and perseverance. Orlando Pérez García (Risita), as we affectionately call him, is a sports activist in Ariguanabo.
