An ariguanabense gets the National Award of the Public Health Ministry
San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba - Liván Delgado, is 31 years old, from Ariguanabo and living in this land won the National Award for Second Grade of the Public Health Ministry. This young scientist and researcher got important national and international awards and achieved contributions on Pharmacology and Cuban medicine. Currently working in the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment.
The ariguanabense labor movement in favor to union
Artemisa, Cuba - The work coordinated from each union section, individual attention and refinement of the actions of each structure is part of the strategy of the labor movement to achieve the incorporation of all ariguanabense workers.
Yamilé Díaz García, secretary of the municipal CTC points out that the tasks of each labor leader is the unionization of all non-state workers, the impact of this new form of employment in the ariguanabense society.
University Student Leader Recalls Recent Visit to Fidel Castro

University students have been marking the 70th anniversary of the registration of Fidel at the University of Havana, and it was in this context that the visit took place on January 23rd.
A Borderless Passion
They met when they were 15 years old , and since then he has considered her as the love of his life, but he had to wait four years and four months to make her his wife. Today, Laura and Luis Enrique are too far away from each other. Since last October, their passion has revived through sporadic emails or phone calls. Along with 53 Cubans, Luis Enrique Lemus Padrón is in Liberia spreading a different expression of love but, like the one he feels for his wife, this love face the distances does not ask anything in return.Luis Enriquez is a General Doctor from Guira de Melena Township and is member of the second group of medicine collaborators who went to Africa to fight Ebola virus. Previously, this cuban doctor served a humanitarian mission in Venezuela, for five years. Upon his return, he became director of Health Service in Batabanó Township for three years. He began working in San Antonio de los Baños Township. Then, he had this new opportunity to offer his solidarity overseas.
Started in Artemisa free sale of liquefied gas
Artemisa, Cuba -This January 2 began in the capital of the province of Artemisa the free sale of liquefied gas for the domestic use as part of the gradual implementation of the Guidelines 249 and 250 that were adopted at the Sixth Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.
On 50th Street between 43 and 45 is located the warehouse were the population can hire the 10 kg cylinders at a price of 400 pesos. Customers also can buy the accessories for the value of 51 pesos and 90 cents including the gas regulator and hoses.
Investments advance in the Mariel Development Zone

Artemisa, Cuba - In its second phase entered the investments on the Railroad of Cuba in the Mariel Development Zone, at the beginning of the link of the capital municipality of Artemisa with the route Almendares - Mariel Port.
Juan Francisco Morales, Director of the Western Railway Company, said that when the new stretch commence it will pass through six territories of the province of Artemisa, and is going to save about two hours of trip from the provincial capital and the Cuban capital.
