Artemisa, Cuba - Like 57 years ago Fidel Castro made his entrance in front of the Column 1; pioneers and young persons from the municipality of Artemisa reissued the entrance of the Caravana de la Libertad (Freedom Convoy) to the province. The momentous event was remembered by the people of the territory.

Gathered at the Park Libertad as that January 17, 1959, when Fidel Castro came to Artemisa on his tour to the province of Pinar del Rio, Cuba's westernmost region.

According to Cándido Reinoso, technical director of Soundry Articles department in the entity, 23 lines of productions of the 24 planned ,were made for the housing program, more than in 2013.
